What we’re looking for

Yes, we’re on the hunt for another unicorn! And we get it, looking for a new job can be daunting, especially when you come across a company like ours that might seem a bit intimidating. But here’s the thing: the most important part of finding the right person is making sure they know exactly what the role involves and what it’s really like to work here. So, to help you figure out if you’re the right person, ask yourself the following questions…

  • Are you a creative visionary frustrated by not being taken seriously?

  • Do you see design as more than just aesthetics, but as a way to solve problems?

  • Are you someone who puts the team before yourself?

  • Can you collaborate smoothly, even when things get tough?

  • Are you a “radiator” who thrives in a busy studio and brings out the best in others?

  • Do you think big while obsessing over every detail?

  • Can you juggle multiple projects and adapt quickly to changing priorities?

  • Are you excited about AI and its potential, rather than fearing it will replace humans?

Yes? Ok! then keep reading because we’re loving the sound of you!!! Now for the sensible trousers bit where we get into the knitty gritty.

Why work at big fish?

  • We don’t creatively pitch or give away work for free.

  • We offer great opportunities for growth.

  • We only work with clients we respect, admire, and would personally support.

  • We’re committed to addressing the climate emergency in all we do.

  • We’re refining our hybrid work model—currently a mix of home and riverside office.

Holiday and days out of the office In addition to standard holiday we give everyone their birthday off and a day to work for their favourite charity, and we never ask people to work between Christmas and New Year. This year we closed the whole company for a week in the summer so we could all go and have a relaxing time doing whatever we fancy. We’re going to try and ensure we do this every year going forward.
