My Name Is Joe
So very excited to announce the grand opening of an important project that's been in the making for over a year. It's been a true honor bringing this brand to life with William Ball and chef Philip Speer. My Name Is Joe
is more than just a coffee shop – it’s an idea that helps people in the service industry who are looking for new life from addiction. It gives them a job and teaches them a skilled trade, because “recovery goes better with good people and good espresso.”
The coffee program has also been developed by Tyler Wells (Handsome Roasters, Nice Coffee, Frank) and made on site by barista Joseph Macrino. Many thanks to my good friend @????????? ???????????? for his help on some of the early brand development and design help. Same to Kevin Dunleavy of McGarrah/Jessee for his suggested copy direction and brand messaging for Joe, the hand-painted signage by Joe Swec, and amazing photography by Julie Swec. Finally, a big thanks to Christopher Royal King and Bryan Butler for their help with resourcing and input in the early development. Looking forward to rolling out more in 2017!
Go to 501 Colorado St. weekdays from 7am-3pm. Get some great food and great coffee, and support people in their recovery. Check out mynameisjoe.com.
Also, have a look at the included attachments for more visual details of the airstream, menu, signage, and more. The grand opening is officially today, learn more by visiting the site and check out the press release from Austin Eater released yesterday.
