UX/UI design process for a flower wholesaler mobile app
Hi everyone! ??
I had the privilege of leading the UX/UI design process for a mobile application tailored to a flower wholesale business. The primary objective was to enhance the efficiency of ordering, inventory tracking, and customer management for florists and wholesale clients, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience that meets the unique needs of this industry.
The project kicked off with an in-depth discovery phase, where I conducted market research and competitor analysis. This research provided the foundation for a series of collaborative workshops with the wholesale company’s leadership team and key users. Over the course of these workshops, we identified critical pain points in existing systems and envisioned innovative solutions tailored to the flower wholesale market. Following these sessions, I developed the information architecture, user journeys, and low-fidelity wireframes, setting the stage for the app’s design.
As the project advanced, it became evident that a comprehensive design system was essential to support ongoing development, ensure consistency, and accommodate future scalability. My responsibility expanded to include the creation of this design system, along with detailed, high-fidelity, interactive prototypes for the core features of the app.
